Let's not forget the real reason for CHRISTmas

Life has been anything but boring lately. I guess it's the plus to a crazy schedule. I haven't really spent a ton of time with Josh. So that's the downside. But once Fri comes we will be spending a lot of time together since we both have some time off. I am so excited for Christmas I can't even begin to explain. Like I want it to come, but then again I want it to last. Like I wish the day could last more than a day. This is the Christmas we will be talking about for years. I feel like a kid again. It's a great feeling. 

So my work has been nuts. Like I get 2 days off, then they decide that they need me. So I plan out my week, and then everything has to change. Like I have not gone shopping for Josh and I really don't know when I'll do it. Tomorrow evening prob, but that means I won't see him all night. But it does mean I can finish my shopping and not have to think about it again. I love shopping, just not shopping so close to Christmas. Ah...the crazy people, the lack of good sales or anything left, since everyone's basically cleaned out the stores. Well...that leads me to remember what the reason for the season is. God. Jesus's birth. And a Savior who came into the world to Save us. Jesus is the REAL REASON for the SEASON.

Well...I hope you all have a merry week finishing up your shopping too. :)

These are pics from yesterday of ice skating lessons...so cute!!

I really keep thinking I want to start writing here again. So maybe I will. Today was a really fun day. I brought Cooper, the boy I watch, to his ice skating lesson. It was adorable. All the kids couldn't even stay on their feet, so the kids spent the whole time on the ice rink eating the ice. That's what happens when you get ten 3 year olds together.

Tonight is the Olympian Christmas Party. So exciting! Josh and I have been working on DEAL or NO DEAL for the kids. I hope they like it as much work as we put into it. Josh mainly. I just wrote up the questions. But it should be fun.

My brother Peter comes home a week from today. And Tim this Fri for Christmas. I can't wait to see them. I haven't seen Peter since Sept and Tim since the beginning of Nov. So I can't wait!! Our family will be reunited, how exciting.

Well Josh and are doing great. I love being married. It's nice to always have someone to talk to, someone to snuggle with, someone to eat meals with, someone to laugh with, to hang out with, and to grow in our walks with Christ with. I couldn't be more happy about it all.

There are a few things that I could use prayer for. We might be buying a house soon. So that means I have to always work. I have to always work means no kids for now. It's sad. It's not that we are poor, because we are actually doing great financially. But we can't live in an Apt. forever. And we can't not not have kids. I want them now, well that's an exaggerations. I want them, but I'm willing to wait. Cuz I know that our lives will be changed forever. For the good, but it's be different.

I should post some pics of Cooper skating today. So maybe I'll do that soon. :) He was adorable in his hockey gear.
